My name is Martin and I'm 32 years old. I have severe physical damage that was caused by an unnoticed tick bite.
In my childhood I was infected with Borrelia and other disease- carrying organisms that are transmitted by a tick.
Those infections have been unrecognized for years so that the untreated Borrelia infection turned into a chronic Neuroborreliosis.
From that background I want to remind you that the Borrelia pathogen, Borreliaburgdorferi, belongs to the same bacteria group as the Syphilis pathogen.
It's known that an untreated Syphilis infection leads to dreaded "softening of the brain" and dementia, because big parts of the brain are being damaged- comparable with the damagecaused by a Borrelia infection.
My Borrelia infection and also the co-infections were diagnosed at a stage that's not curable anymore.
It was 1999 when the disease broke out. It was in connection with the Mononucleosis and a Bartonella infection.
The disease and the infections manifested ever since.
The disease has not been treated so over the years I developed autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system and severe damage of my organs, especially my brain.
Autoantibodies against my heart muscles have been diagnosed in 2009 already.
Left alone by the German health care system, out of pocket medical expenses and own research I still had a strong will to survive but I had to face more and more devastating diagnoses.
I have to say that I'm not a rare case of Borrelia in Germany. Many people suffer from it and the clinics as well as the doctors are very ignorant about it.
Accompanying, even tick-transmitted infection with Bartonella, Babesia(malaria-like organisms), Yersinia, Ehrlichia and Borrelia naturally found themselves heavily in my body. In addition - due to the co-pathogens caused by damage to the immune - viral, chronic infection with Epstein-Barr virus, HHV-6virus, measles, and massively high Röteltiter in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
My doctor (nephrologist and environmental medicine), who treated me for years, acknowledged to me severe genetic defects. I am no longer able to detoxify such substances like heavy metals,chemical fragrances or medications, such as the much-needed therapeutic antibiotics. The slightest contact with these substances causes shock-like response. The interaction between my genetic flaw,not beeing able to detoxify and the number of different infektions caused my severe illness. In order for my body to get rid of the toxins and chronic inflammatory products,I had to have several apheresis on a regular basis. With this kind of blood cleansing the body is able to get cleaned from lyme-toxins as well as all other kinds of toxins-for a short time.
Also, all foods are no longer tolerated by my immune system. Due to the strong allergies, I even had to be artificially fed several times over several months and lost 25kg.
For six years, my health condition is life threatening. I lead a sustainable life farbelow the limit of endurance.

Three weeks ago I was re-examined. Here they found a GuillainBarre Syndrome in the same number of variants.
